ProSys invents, designs, and produces megasonic systems for advanced wet process technology markets. Our customers include both equipment OEMs and end users.
ProSys customers achieve superior results at lower cost-of-ownership. Applying our extensive patent & technology portfolio, our megasonic products provide greater uniformity and more control for processing products at the nanometer scale. ProSys customers also uncover process optimization insights through our exclusive performance measurement capabilities.
Founded in 1996 and led by semiconductor industry executives, our headquarters and manufacturing facility is in Campbell, CA. ProSys direct and independent sales and service offices are in Europe, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, China, and Malaysia.
ProSys is ISO 9001:2015 certified
When you work with ProSys you get:
with lower operating costs through our proprietary Direct Batch Technology,
and absolute particle neutrality using our patented MegPie™ technology for processing single substrates,
greater than 99% PRE when measured at 19 nm in mass volume production
in chemistry-based processes for higher yield in shorter cycle times, often using benign chemistries,
that identifies process improvement opportunities & will predict preventative maintenance, and
is the foundation of our extensive application research, ensuring that you get the most from your application.
Meet Dr. Srini Raghavan, Director of New Process Development at ProSys
A graduate of the prestigious University of California at Berkeley, where he earned both his M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Mineral Engineering, Dr. Raghavan has dedicated his career to the exploration and understanding of wet chemical processing of materials. His research spans semiconductors, metals, and 2-D materials, delving into the complexities of corrosion, material degradation, and surface and colloid chemistry. His academic excellence is evidenced by his 180 peer-reviewed publications and seven patents, as well as his mentorship of 42 Ph.D. and 39 M.S. graduates.
Dr. Raghavan’s industry engagements are equally impressive, including a pivotal role as a principal scientist at Intel’s Flash Technology Development group and visiting faculty positions at Micron’s R&D fabrication and Intel SPTD. Internationally, he has served at the International College of Semiconductor Technology in Taiwan, the Institute of Microelectronics in China, and the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras in India, among others.
In his current role as Director of New Process Development at ProSys, Dr. Raghavan spearheads initiatives in wet chemical processing for integrated circuit manufacturing and packaging. His innovative work, particularly in the removal of particulates and films from wafer and packaging structures using sound-assisted wet chemical techniques, has not only advanced ProSys’s capabilities but also contributed to our foundational scientific knowledge base.
Dr. Raghavan’s collaborative efforts with ProSys have been both productive and enlightening, exemplifying our commitment to cutting-edge research and development. His publications and contributions are a testament to our shared values of excellence and innovation and can be accessed for further reading on the ProSys website.
We are proud to have Dr. Raghavan on our team, where his unparalleled expertise continues to propel us toward new horizons in the semiconductor industry.
